Auditors can move quickly

Accessibility auditors are stereotypically a person with expertise using screen readers and other online tools. They will interact with each web page and determine issues. Unfortunately this requires both specialist training and a lot of time to review all pages.

Our AI features improve this in several ways. First, the page is scanned for pervasive code errors that a screen reader would otherwise hear repeatedly on each page they visit. Second, the page is scanned to validate the content in attributes, names, and alt tags to determine if they are coherent, descriptive, and unique. Third, the page is scanned as a screen reader and issues are presented for assessment. While human manual audits are still an important part of our service, using AI as a tool helps websites make improvements and achieve compliance as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Content Managers become autonomous

Content managers, merchandisers, and marketing staff are highly trained in their field but few can be expected to know what an ARIA attribute is and how a landmark should be labeled.
